To activate F&O in Kotak Securities online, log in to the Kotak Securities app using your credentials first.
- Click on “ More “ and scroll down as low as you can go in the app.
- You will find the “ Help and more “ segment at the bottom. You will also find “ Segment Activation “ under this segment. Click on the segment activation tab.
- Tick the “ Activate Now “ circle in front of NSE and BSE under Futures and Options.
- Ticking that circle will redirect you to the next window where you will have to upload one of the 6 documents which include the Last 6 months’ bank statement, salary slips, Net worth certificate, ITR acknowledgment, Form 16, and DP Statement with a minimum value of ₹ 10,000.
- The document size should not exceed 1 MB.
- Click on “ Confirm “ after uploading your document.
- Click on Confirm in the next pop-up to register your request.
For activating F&O using the desktop terminal, click “Help” followed by “Service Request” and “Segment Activation”.
Click on “Proceed” and follow the same procedure that you’re supposed to follow using the mobile app.
