As a hybrid broker, Angel One is surely registered with SEBI to provide its services in the market but do you want to know which depository is it associated with? Since there are two depositories in India, the question that people ask is Angel One NSDL or CDSL.

Angel One is NSDL or CDSL

Well, Angel One is only registered with CDSL (Central Securities Depositories Limited) under the registration number IN-DP-384-2018 and you can access this information on the official website of Angel One.

Apart from this, the Angel One BO ID also gives away this information where the first 8 digits of your Demat Account number are the Depository ID and by that ID, you can easily identify which depository is Angel One associated with.

The DP ID of NSDL starts with two alphabetic letters while the same for CDSL contains 8 numbers only.

And when you see your Angel One Demat account number, you can see the DP ID (the first 8 digits) being only in numbers, meaning it is associated with CDSL and not NDSL.

So the question “ Is Angel One NSDL or CDSL “ is hopefully answered now. Feel free to drop more questions in the comments in case you want to ask something.
