How to Open Demat Account With Zerodha?

To open a Zerodha account on Sunday through the online process, follow the steps below.

• Open the Zerodha website and add your mobile number in the Sign Up section.
• Enter the OTP received. 

• Enter your Name and Email Id on the next page and verify by submitting OTP details.
• Once entered you will be asked to enter your PAN and date of birth details.
• In the Next step, you will be asked to select the segments in which you want to trade.
• Pay Zerodha account opening charges through UPI, Net Banking, Credit or debit cards.

• After the successful payment of fees, you will be redirected to perform KYC using DigiLocker.

• Once KYC is done you will be redirected to set up your profile details
• You will be asked to add your Marital Status, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Annual Income, settlement preferences, your occupation.

• After filling in these details click continue
• On the next page, you will be asked to link your bank account either using IFSC Code or UPI Id.
• The next step will be asked to verify yourself over the Video call, so you have to enable the camera for that.
• You will be provided with a Code, you need to write that code on a White Paper and hold it next to your face.
• In the Next step, you have to upload your documents such as income proof, your signatures, and a copy of your PAN
• Once done click on continue. 
• The last step is to eSign for your Equity segment. When you click on eSign it will redirect you to NDSL website, you need to enter your Adhaar number and OTP received on registered mobile.

• Once you have eSigned you will be redirected to Zerodha’s Welcome page.

Once the details are verified you will receive the confirmation email on your registered email id within 24 hours.
