Here income proof includes the following documents:

  • 6 months bank statement with a minimum balance of ₹10,000.
  • 3 months salary slip with a gross income of ₹15,000.
  • ITR acknowledgment with annual income crossing Rs 1,20,000
  • Form 16 with gross annual income crossing Rs 1,20,000
  • Certificate of Net Worth more than Rs 10,00,000
  • Statement of Demat holding account with a value of more than Rs 10,000

The same documents are required to open commodity account in Zerodha.

How to Upload Income Proof in Zerodha Console?

Adding income proof to activate the derivatives segment in Zerodha is simple and can be done by following a few simple steps in Console.

  • Login to Zerodha Console using your Zerodha credentials.
  • Select Account from the menu Bar
  • Choose Financial Proof.
  • Choose your Income Range
  • Upload by clicking the ‘Choose File’ option. The documents should be uploaded in PDF, JPEG, JPG & PNG formats.
  • Enter the Password in the File Password Section if any.
  • Click on Upload.

You will see a pop-up displaying Successfully Updated Financial Proof.

You can also use your holdings as income proof as well.

How to Update Income Proof in Zerodha?

Once you upload the required documents you can later update them by following the steps below.

  • Login to Zerodha Console.
  • Click on Documents and then on Income Proof for the Derivatives segment.
  • Now select the income range and upload the supporting documents.
  • Click on Upload.
  • The documents will be verified and updated.
